I have viewed many video's and I have noticed that not all the video's have a narrative for example when I went the Tate Modern Art Gallery I viewed a video called Material Gestures created by Paul McCarthy. The video was clearly a non narrative because I was able to drop in whenever I wanted and view the video because there wasn't really and structure or point to the video there was no order to the video it just started and finished.
Where as when I watched Girl Chewing Gum by John Smith I noticed his clip had a good narrative because there was a beginning, middle and end to the video.This gave me no choice but to watch the whole of the video because otherwise the film wouldn't have made any sense if I was to just watched parts of the video.
